Dear Guardian ad Litem Volunteers, Staff, Youth, and Supporters!
The Program Standards were created through a collaborative effort of staff, volunteers and youth in foster care. These Standards allow our staff to better advocate for children.
When you review the Standards you will notice that many of them include additional comments. These comments are included to ensure those not familiar with our Program interpret our Standards accurately, in light of our goals and objectives. Any feedback is appreciated so we can continue to improve.
Thanks for the important work each of you do for children. I value your commitment and dedication to ensure children's voices are heard and children have someone in their corner fighting for them. These standards will allow each of you to say unequivocally "I am for the child."
