FCADV works towards ending violence through public awareness, policy development, and support for Florida's domestic violence centers. Serving Florida's 41 domestic violence centers, FCADV runs Florida's toll-free domestic violence hotline, maintains a resource library, and develops posters, brochures, safety plans, and other resources.

Miami-Dade Domestic Violence Division, 11th Judicial Circuit
The Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida created a specialized Domestic Violence Division, comprised of seven judges and support services to deal exclusively with Domestic Violence. Domestic Violence-related misdemeanors, injunction violations, and injunctions for protection (restraining orders) are all heard within the Domestic Violence Division.

Dependency Court Intervention Program for Family Violence

The Centre for Children and Families in the Justice System
The Centre for Children and Families in the Justice System is a non-profit social service agency devoted to helping children and families involved with the justice system as victims of crime, witnesses of crime, parties in custody disputes, subjects of child protection proceedings, litigants in civil suits for compensation, teenagers in therapeutic care settings, or youthful offenders. We are known around the world for our innovative work on children exposed to domestic violence.

The Greenbook Initiative
This project helps communities improve coordination among courts and social service agencies to better serve families in need. The project is designed to improve the quality of services provided by local jurisdictions to families threatened both by domestic violence and child abuse or maltreatment. NCJFCJ’s Family Violence Department coordinates support and technical assistance.
Minnesota Center Against Violence and Abuse
Provides current information, research and intervention best practices with families experiencing both child maltreatment, domestic violence, stalking, dating violence and youth violence. The intent is to link research and practice to develop collaborative multidisciplinary models for working with families experiencing both forms of abuse.
